Malawi chiclids are aggressive by nature. Most of them defend a territory. In an aquarium the most dominant male always
becomes the boss. The other fishes struggle with eachother for second place. As long as everybody behaves according to his or her rank there will be peace in the aquarium.
Goldfish are the friendliest animals you'll ever meet. They would never harm another fish, always trying to help their fellow goldfishes when neccessary. You'ld almost start to feel
sympathy for them, if they weren't so bloody boring.

Malawi chiclids don't like goldfish one bit. They hate them. When you drop a goldfish in a Malawi tank, the Malawi's will destroy it.
This is very exciting to watch, just like a tiger ripping apart an antilope. I must admit, that some goldfish are very brave, and sometimes it takes
a while before the Malawi's do their thing, which they eventually always will.
